Man, no carry-on for London flights?
So here is a list of the must-have items in my carry-ons:
1. My powerbook. (how can a mom live with her baby??)
2. Lotion (My hands cracks in the plane. Literally.)
3. Toothpaste and brush (in a 12+ hours flight I need to brush my teeth at least 2-3 times, waking up and falling asleep without brushing my teeth is GROSS)
4. Books and Magazines (well surely you know why)
5. Ipod (babies crying…)
6. Phone (call mom when I arrive)
7. Bottled water (the crew always refuse to give you bottled water, since you’re not flying business of first class..)
So basically with the new terriost alarm in England,
After the arrests, short-haul flights into London’s Heathrow Airport were canceled and carry-on luggage was banned on all departing planes, causing chaos and long delays during one of the busiest weeks for summer trans-Atlantic travel.
The alert level for aviation in Britian was raised to “critical,’’ the highest level. In the United States, federal officials raised the security warning level for all aviation to high, and to severe, the highest level, for flights arriving from the United Kingdom.
They also put in place new regulations barring passengers from carrying any liquids, gels or lotions onto planes, except for milk or juice for young children and medicines.
My number 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 are dead. My basic human rights are denied. Man. I hate what’s happening here!
