The world of google is coming soon, have you seen EPIC2014? One of the very top creative short movies on the future of the information highway, I highly recommend this for anyone who is interested in information architecture and journalism.
This is why when I learnt that Google has incorporated writely (an amazing webbased platform that let you edit you document through a browser, feels like using M$ Words) I was quite intrigued. Perhaps the age of google-platform is not that far away?
A manifesto distilled from Taoism and Buddhism, perhaps a bit of existentialism.
Thanks for reading it – Perhaps you may not agree, but that’s your freedom, too?

=====================================
The Freedom Manifesto
Seize controlling things that you cannot control
Treasure what you have, and make the most of it.
If possible, share that with someone that makes a difference in your life.
Even better, be the someone that makes a difference.
After all, life is short.
Perhaps leaving a print in someone’s soul is the only way to liberate our existence.
That is, the freedom that we always have, but not necessarily what we always remember.
I have always been free, have you not?
You cannot make someone love you,
but you can choose to love yourself.
You cannot stop someone from hurting you,
but you can walk away.
There are things we can control, some we can’t.
Seize controlling the uncontrollable. That’s freedom.
Knowing how to stay strangles what you have,
Knowing when to leave, that’s freedom.
Hm.. what is this thing called, freedom?
One of my mac buddies just came back from Japan and sent me some of his amazing photos, they are really nice. I always look up to people who can take photos, as my old girl F said, people who can take pictures can’t be bad people.
Apart from baking bread today – and before I realized – I was online checking ticket prices and emailing my friend from Germany. Hm. I miss travelling already, although on a macro-scale I’m still by-and-large travelling.
Next stop: Jeva.
If you go on google and search ‘powerbook & heat’ – you’ll see pages of rants about how hot powerbook gets and how not a laptop it is (as in it burns your lap). But I found a reason to fall in love with my PB (again) – it creates perfect nice cozy little incubation for my bread dough – the dough loves my PB and is raising like magic.

Another reason to get a mac. Windows – you can’t do this can you?
Powerbook: Thanks, dough. You made me feel needed.
Dough: No problem. I feel myself bigger being next to you.
